Dear Rep. McMorris Rodgers:
Congratulations on spending federal government time and money on your amicus curiae brief opposing constitutional protections for Louisiana citizens. Don't be discouraged that your work advocating against constitutional rights was overshadowed this week with all of the GOP war mongering. We noticed.
We think it is an AWESOME use of federal government time and money to hire lawyers to write briefs in a state law matter to oppose constitutional rights for the citizens of that state. Washington's Fifth District knows your capabilities, and that you have lots of extra time after serving all of our needs to devote to understanding and fixing the state laws of Louisiana.
50 years ago, the U.S. Supreme Court recognized abortion as a constitutional right. Washington passed the legal right to abortion by initiative 50 years ago. But Washingtonians want none of that for Louisiana! Washingtonians want our federal legislators to spend our time and money to deprive people in Louisiana from exercising a constitutional right.
Your decades-long campaigns against same-sex marriage, also a constitutional right, have been impressive. We particularly like how you continue to invoke "freedom of religion" as a justification for bigotry against same sex couples. Your supporters from the Westboro Baptist Church put it more succinctly.
Why not add "voting by women and minorities" to your list of constitutional rights to protest on behalf of your Fifth District constituents? Make America great again -- 1859 style. Our founding fathers did not grant voting rights to women or minorities.
Most importantly, your District especially wants you to invoke our Constitutional rights to discriminate against Muslims and to be indifferent to their indiscriminate murder. We LOVED the email message we got from you:
I support our Commander in Chief. The President’s decisive strike was a defensive action against imminent threats and plans to attack more Americans and our allies. This strike sent an important message to those who wish to do us harm.
At the same time, I do not wish for an armed conflict with Iran. I encourage the administration to engage with Congress on this moving forward so we can be strategic in avoiding escalation and in protecting American lives and American interests.
We get it. Christian moms love assassination because Jesus loved assassination. As a Christian mom you have to support assassination of a foreign leader to make your mob boss feel better about himself. Jesus taught about the vanity justification for assassination. Your Christian devotion to vanity-based assassination is understandable.
But assassination, even justified assassination based in vanity, has unfortunate predictable consequences in the modern world.
We thought it was HILARIOUS that your above-quoted message of love of assassination arrived the evening of Tuesday January 7, just as Iranian missiles rained down on an American airbase. We all could have predicted some form of retaliation by Iran for assassinating their military leader. All is well indeed.
We LOVED your take on Fox News Radio praising the briefing you got about the "imminent threat" used as the trial and sentencing of the foreign military leader you had assassinated.
Senator Mike Lee of Utah thought the briefing was utter balderdash -- an entirely fake pretext to justify assassinating a foreign leader to divert from President Trump's other insane behavior. But Senator Lee is not a made member of the Trump crime family like you are. So, don't let Senator Lee drag you down with facts and mercy. Your assassination was justified by the vanity of your cursing lying philandering charity-robbing criminal traitor mob boss.
Finally, we are LOVING your silence on the murder of 63 Canadians, many of them physicians and students, who were shot out of the sky in the wake of Iran's predicted retaliation against the U.S.
63 Canadians. Who cares? Murdering 63 Canadians is nothing when you are sending "an important message to those who wish to do us harm." You're the best supporter of murdering 63 Canadians in order to send important messages, CMR.
Keep up the good work! We fully support your meddling in the legislatures of other states and murdering 63 Canadians since that is apparently what it takes to send a message to those who wish to do us harm.
If your staff is keeping track, put us down as FOR spending federal government time and money to argue against constitutional rights, and FOR assassinating foreign leaders because that's what Jesus would do, but AGAINST murdering 63 Canadians because that seemed to have been entirely avoidable.
Have a nice day.
