Dear Rep. McMorris Rodgers: Sorry for the passing of Sen. Slade Gorton. As a lifelong republicans, we always admired Senator Gorton's thoughtfulness and pragmatism as he represented our state.
But we have no admiration for our current President Trump -- a lying, philandering, rude, ignorant, criminal, from a family of lying criminals, surrounded by a team of lying criminals drawing government salaries. You remain the WA campaign co-chair for this deranged lunatic -- accepting him without question as he lies, cheats, and lines his own pockets. Why?
Hilarious to read the SDNY indictment today of your Trump campaign chairperson colleague Steve Bannon for robbing a charity of money donated by GOP xenophobes. The entire saga is an apt metaphor for your involvement in the Trump Crime Family.
How did the scam work?
A veteran sets up a GoFundMe page to build a border wall -- "We Build The Wall". President Trump's photo is prominently featured giving a thumbs up. The site includes favorable testimonials from Donald Trump Jr. and your House colleague, Rep. Gohmert.
Thousands of xenophobic GOP bigots donate money -- money that they earned legitimately, but probably could have put to more productive use. Your Washington state supporter Joshua Greene donated some of his hard earned money.
Most rational people could see the We Build The Wall GoFundMe page for what it was -- a scam to collect money for a wall that would never, and could never, be privately built.
But as you know, many in the current GOP are straight-up ignorant fools, including your President Trump who has the vocabulary, grammar skills, and world knowledge of a failing sixth grader. These uneducated and incurious bigots are the heart of your support base -- the same people who support you and Loren Culp or Matt Shea.
Unfortunately, many of these ignorant GOP bigots are gullible due to their debilitating ignorance. You have criticized social media for "censoring" conservatives, but enforcement of terms of service by social media seems important to quell amplification of untruths by reckless morons.
For example, you have a family member who has repeatedly had Facebook posts censored as untrue. Your family member did not appear to be posting the untruths on purpose. Instead, presumably, your family member is simply too unaware to understand what is and is not true. Your family member posted a meme that Michael Jordan was switching to the GOP because Mr. Jordan purportedly claimed that President Trump was being treated unfairly. That post was censored because it's untrue, as any rational person would know. Your family member also posted a doctored graphic purporting to be a Student ID of a "Barry Soetoro" from Columbia University as a "foreign student" featuring Barack Obama's photograph. Your family member probably thought this Student ID was true and was trying to warn other ignorant GOP bigots about a foreign black man. But, in fact, your family member's link to the doctored Student ID is from the very Snopes.com webpage debunking the Barry Soetoro ID as "false". Your family member appears to be too unaware to even understand what Snopes is, posting the photo as if it were real in an attempt to convince other ignorant GOP bigots of this birtherism claim.
Young people call this a "selfing" -- your unaware family member took pride in publishing something that made your family member look even more unaware. Ignorance amplified and perpetuated.
These ignorant GOP bigots are not just in your family. The wife of our Spokane County Prosecutor is another one with her "I do not trust Muzlims" posts -- a bigot shining a spotlight on her ignorance and bigotry -- a true selfing.
Thousands of these ignorant GOP bigots voted for you and millions more ignorant GOP bigots voted for President Trump. Thousands of those ignorant GOP bigots donated to the "We Build The Wall" campaign.
The leaders of We Build The Wall used the Donald Trump images and testimonials, and the testimonial of your colleague Rep. Gohmert to raise over $25,000,000 to "build a wall" -- the same wall you tell us is a legislative priority for you.
But they didn't build a wall. They gave the $25,000,000+ to Steve Bannon's "non-profit" which then distributed the money to Mr. Bannon and the other criminals who duped the ignorant GOP bigots out of the money they should be spending on education for their children. (As an aside, we have noticed that many uneducated ignorant GOP bigots homeschool their children out of fear of exposing them to jews or catholics or homosexuals, but then, regrettably, those children end up to be uneducated ignorant GOP bigots as well. We know you're familiar with that cycle. Regrettably, in our digital world, often these inaccurate, ignorant GOP bigot memes are part of the homeschooling.)
You've complained that conservative organizations are targeted by the IRS. Seems Mr. Bannon's "non-profit" would be a good one to examine -- stealing $25,000,000+ from ignorant GOP bigots in the name of charity. Your President's Trump Foundation was the same -- stealing money from children's cancer centers and veterans' organizations. None of the President's family can ever be part of a New York non-profit again -- because the President and his family are criminals. The President and his family AGREED to this sanction, because they know they are criminals. We all know they are criminals.
We Build The Wall collected the donated money but never built a wall. Essentially, one group of savvy GOP bigots stole $25,000,000+ from thousands of ignorant GOP bigots. Some say this is a "no harm, no foul" crime and that the ignorant GOP bigots deserve to be robbed.
We all know that some of these ignorant GOP bigot crime victims were unaware they were being robbed and, in good faith, thought they were trying to help the government with immigration policy. Seems those innocent, ignorant GOP bigots need to be protected from themselves, in the same way that social media censorship helps innocent, ignorant GOP bigots from constantly "selfing" themselves.
But why aren't you helping? What about your supporter Joshua Greene? Certainly you have other ignorant GOP bigot constituents who contributed to We Build The Wall only to have their money stolen by President Trump's campaign manager. Where are your outcries against the Trump Crime Family and its thieving ways?
You are one of President Trump's campaign co-chairpersons. Will you also be required to steal money from ignorant GOP bigots like Mr. Bannon did? Is that part of the Trump Crime Family initiation? Seems scary to have to steal from your base of ignorant GOP bigots, but Mr. Bannon was able to do it and sleep well each night on a Chinese mafia yacht.
Alas, we understand that you cannot come to the aid of your fellow ignorant GOP bigots who made it so easy for Mr. Trump's campaign chair to steal their money. Your role as Trump WA campaign co-chair is more important than protecting your constituents, even your base of ignorant GOP bigots. That's the Christian way.
We wanted to reach out to let you know we empathize with your situation: deep down, you want to help your fellow ignorant GOP bigots, but you have to pledge allegiance first to the Trump Crime Family. We just hope none of your own family members were duped into allowing Mr. Bannon to steal their money -- your family needs that money for education.
We know you've had a tough spring -- spending our tax money to pay lawyers to defend a Louisiana abortion law found to be unconstitutional. It must be exhausting continuing to push for positions found to be unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. Seems like just yesterday when you were trying to stop same sex marriage and the Supreme Court found that unconstitutional. I'm sure some of the other ignorant GOP bigots would like you to pursue Jim Crowe or annul the women's right to vote -- nothing unlawful about a desire to go back to that America. You have quite a reputation among Congresspeople for pursuit of ignorant GOP bigot positions that the Supreme Court finds unconstitutional. Too bad your "pre-law" degree from your unaccredited ignorant GOP bigot madrassa never exposed you to civil rights.
Hang in there -- looks like you will coast to another easy Congressional win. We are loving your mailers which do not claim any party affiliation. Voting for "Cathy" sounds harmless enough, but do those voters know you are the Trump WA campaign co-chairperson? Don't let them know that! Many traditional republicans loathe President Trump but are unaware you are a made member of his crime family.
If your staff is keeping track, put us down as FOR sensible immigration policy, and FOR crowdfunding, but AGAINST Trump campaign chairpersons stealing money from ignorant GOP bigots, as hilarious as that may be.
