Dear Rep. McMorris Rodgers: Loved the lecture you posted today about "censorship of constitutionally protected content". Your analogy comparing communist China's treatment of the Uyghurs to Facebook's censorship of the racist defamation regularly posted by your immediate family member was food for thought.
We have previously alerted you about your immediate family member's regular racist defamation using the "Contact Cathy" link on your website, but our alert was apparently ignored. Or maybe you want to be known as the Congresswoman with the immediate family member who regularly posts racist defamation. Your trump-cultists likely love racist defamation posted by immediate family members of Congresswomen.
But, as your constituents, we are surprised that you would advocate against social media censorship at the same time your immediate family member is directly violating private social media terms of service by regularly posting racist defamation. It detracts from the finer points of your propaganda about the dangers of communism.
For example, last week your immediate family member posted "My rich great-grandfather Hamilton Brown owned 5 plantations and 200 Irish and African slaves, including men, women, and children," attributing the quote to Vice President Harris. Hamilton Brown died in 1843. None of his great grandchildren lived to be, or to coexist with, Vice President Harris. Facebook put a warning on your immediate family member's racist defamation, but your immediate family member kept the post up, presumably to honor your crusade for racist defamation.
Another example, this week your immediate family member posted "I hope every man in America never forgets that Kamala Harris slept her way to the top with a married man." Again, this awesome message of unity and racist defamation is diluted by your orange messiah. Your criminal mob boss took a corporate tax deduction for hush money paid to silence his sex-working copulation partner while his wife was at home with their infant son - a move you supported. So, while I want to remember your immediate family member's warning about Vice President Harris, I want you to remember about your tangerine dream and his familial, carnal, and legal transgressions.
Another example, your immediate family member posted a fake quote attributed to Michael Jordan: "I walked away from the Democrats because they don't stand proudly with their President. Anyone who disrespects him disrespects us all." Totally and completely untrue.
Another example, your immediate family member posted a fake "Columbia University Foreign Student ID Card" of a "Barry Soetoro" with a photograph of a young Barack Obama. Most informed people know this is untrue, but your uninformed immediate family member appears not to. Reminds us of your quote on the capitol steps that you "wanted to see the documentation" about President Obama's birth certificate. (We feel the same way about your supposed (1988?) (1990?) "graduation" from "high school". Or how you were accepted into the UW EMBA program (not the MBA program as you have claimed in official campaign documents) without an accredited undergraduate degree as the UW requires.)
Each example of your immediate family member's defamatory posts is about a successful African American. It is possible this is a coincidence, and that your immediate family member will start defaming other ethnicities soon. Or, more likely, your immediate family member is a racist, although your immediately family member would probably prefer to be called a Christian, like you prefer to be called.
All of these fake quotes and fake documents are defamatory. They expose your immediate family member to civil liability. It is unlikely any of these defamed successful African Americans will take the time and trouble to exercise their legal rights to come to the Eastern District of Washington to sue your immediate family member to enjoin the racist defamation and to seek compensation for it - but they could, and they should.
Many of your immediate family member's racist defamatory posts have laudatory comments from your immediate family member's circle of like-minded citizens. Comments like "For sure!" "Absolutely!" and "Same here cuz!" Your immediate family member has responded to some of these comments. We like this reply by your immediate family member for its trump-cultian racist article use - see if you can spot it: "Seems the blacks are demanding reparations for how many generations back?" Love the the!
You have advocated for elimination of the safe harbor of Section 230, and that would expose Facebook directly to liability for this racist defamation posted by your immediate family member. Then your immediate family member would have to indemnify Facebook under its terms of service. Would your immediate family member be able to pay that indemnity? If not, it seems irresponsible for your immediate family member to put Facebook in that position by recklessly using the Facebook platform to post the racist defamation.
Then you come in. Today, you're on OAN advocating that Facebook be forced to re-publish your immediate family member's racist defamation. Love how you use the communism allegations to hide your own agenda of helping your immediate family member continue to publicly post racist defamation.
You would probably be more palatable to thinking people if you were able to curb your immediate family member from posting racist defamation before launching a campaign to force social media to post racist defamation from any trump-cultist, whether they are your immediate family member or not.
The bottom line is that you have an uncontrollable family member engaged in regular, systematic racist defamation, and you do not seem to care. That is too bad, because your own reputation, from James Alsup and Matt Shea and Jim West and your puppet masters at House GOP, is that you are racist-tolerant. You spent our tax money to hire a lawyer to write an amicus to cancel African American votes. You relied on a mis-reading of a Ku Klux Klan case to support your vote against impeachment. What a dope!
The Ku Klux Klan case is an apt example why you should admit you are unqualified to be a Congressperson and should resign. You cited Brandenberg v, Ohio to support your vote for the insurrection.
In Brandenberg, the KKK was exonerated for its private 13-person cross burning ceremony where the KKK discussed a march on the capitol -- because the KKK didn't then march on the capitol. In Brandenberg, the Supreme Court blessed the 13-person hate-drenched cross burning because it was all talk. But your armed racist Christian homeschooled COVID-breathing trump-cultist cousin-brothers stormed your building to disrupt the vote you wanted disrupted.
In other words, the KKK was "better behaved" constitutionally than your uninformed armed trump-cultists were. You do not even understand this "nuance" about Brandenberg that any first year law student would understand. Brandenberg supports polite racists like the KKK, not virulent racists like your uninformed armed trump-cultists. You're a dope to think the KKK case helps your cause -- and you relied on your mis-interpretation of Brandenberg to support your vote for the insurrection. What a dope!
First you argue for your right to misinform your constituents that the KKK case supports you. Now, here you are advocating with pride for the right of your immediate family member to post racist defamation. What a dope!
We are done being polite to the blank wall that is our Congresswoman. You are entirely unqualified for your job. You are a danger to society.
If your staff is keeping track, put us down as FOR having a Congresswoman who advocates for racist defamation while at the same time having an immediate family member who routinely posts racist defamation, because that is hilarious irony lost on our Congresswoman who lacks the sophistication to appreciate it, but put us down as AGAINST our Congresswoman improperly claiming that the Supreme Court has entitled President Trump to the protections it afforded to the Ku Klux Klan for hosting a 13-person cross burning discussing insurrection, because former President's behavior was more criminal than the Ku Klux Klan's.
Please for the love of all that is good, talk to your immediate family member. Stop the racist defamation in your own family before claiming conservatives are unfairly targeted for censorship.
Have a nice day!
FEBRUARY 26, 20201 UPDATE: The day after our article posted, your immediate family member posted new, racist (non-defamatory) racism. "We can't blame every Islamic Person for what happened on 9/11. Yep. Can't keep blaming slavery and racism on every white person."
"Islamic person"? Doesn't have the brevity of "the blacks", but equally as ignorant.
And just last week, your immediate family member was directly blaming Vice President Harris for slavery by defaming her with the made up quote: "My great-grandfather Hamilton Brown owned 300 slaves..." So, your immediate family member only wants to blame African Americans for slavery?
We can in fact "blame racism" on some white people - the racists. It appears that your immediate family member has earned the badge that your immediate family member acknowledges not every white person has earned.
March 9 UPDATE: Your immediate family member has posted a photograph of Denzel Washington, ascribing this fake quote to him: "Wait. Tell me again why I'm supposed to vote dem, when their promises are never kept? Do they think I'm stupid?" Mr. Washington apparently sees no humor in defamation.
Yesterday, your immediate family member posted: "Race only matters to racists. The rest of us care about character."
Your character-checking immediate family member has defamed Denzel Washington, Michael Jordan, Barack Obama, and Kamala Harris. This seems like a problem for you, Congresswoman. Too bad you don't care.
